Allie’s title in her new position at Sirna & Sons, is Business Solutions Coordinator. “I’m very excited to be a part of the 4th generation of Sirna & Sons Produce alongside my brother, Anthony. It’s an honor to be a part of a family owned company that has grown and evolved for over 80 years,” said Allie Sirna. “We look forward to pushing the boundaries of what we can do, by staying innovative in our business strategy and incorporating new industry technology to our infrastructure. People and employees will always be the core of our business, and as the labor sector becomes increasingly difficult to maintain, we will to continue to look for ways to adjust our company culture to meet the expectations and needs of next generation employment.”

Sirna graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2015. She graduated summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentrate in International Business and minor in Communications. She was also a member of the soccer team for 4 years.

While she grew up around the produce industry, she has “officially” worked in produce now for 4 years, since September 2015. Allie previously worked for national produce management company Produce Alliance in Chicago, IL, an opportunity that significantly expanded her knowledge of produce skews, pricing and contract management. “Playing a sport in college, while extremely rewarding, did not allow time for internships or summer job opportunities because of our summer and fall schedule. After graduating college, I felt strongly about working for another company before coming back to the family business, so that I had valuable industry knowledge and experience to apply. I will always be grateful for the relationships I was able to form with people, customers, and other industry distributors throughout my 4 years of working at PA.”
